Processing Machines for Carbonated Drinks Carbonators
De-Aerators & Premix Units
As a skilled specialist in process equipment for beverages production, IC Filling Systems can provide a wide and complete range of advanced processing technologies which can be readily combined for a complete turnkey solution: from the water spring to the product ready for bottling, all our processing equipment is perfectly suited to be used in the beverage industry.
Mineral and table water, flavoured water, carbonated and non-carbonated soft drinks, juices, smoothies, energy drinks, tea, wine, beer and milk based beverages.
The Saturator carries out all the operations of deaeration of the water and the subsequent carbonation to obtain carbonated water; it consists of a solid AISI 304 stainless steel structure, on which the various components, such as the deaeration tank, the carbonation device and the stabilization/storage tank are anchored.
Tanks are made of AISI 304 stainless steel, with the necessary equipment for the proper execution of the working cycles.
The deaeration tank is kept at negative pressure by a vacuum pump.
The water, introduced into the tank from above, is atomized, increasing the surface area of contact between the water and the vacuum. In this way the gases, naturally contained in the water, are expelled by the water itself, facilitating the subsequent stage of carbonation.
In this tank the excess carbon dioxide is conveyed from the tank saturation: the CO2, in addition to facilitating the deaeration, causes a slight pre-carbonation. The carbonation device provides the direct injection of CO2 in the liquid for obtaining carbonated products. The amount of CO2 is set by a modulating valve, which can provide different degrees of carbonation.
The next static mixer splits the bubbles of CO2 and facilitates the absorption while combining other products for example soft drinks concentrates.
Finally, the carbonated water is fed to the stabilization/storage tank, obviously kept under pressure with CO2 and from this tank sent to the filler.
The electrical stainless steel panel is provided with an operating panel that allows to set and modify all the control parameters of the machine and an electronic chart recorder that stores the values of pressure and temperature during the process. An internet connection allows remote assistance from our factory.
