40th Benevolent Dinner of the Whisky Trade

IC filling systems Staff and guests at the 40th Charity dinner of the Benevolent society of the whisky Trade held in Glasgow with over 1000 participants. The dinner raises funds for needy pensioners of the licensed trade in Scotland.

The Benevolent Society is a charitable society that helps old retired pensioners from the Spirit Trade ( bar managers, bar staff , anyone connected with the bar trade) that may have fallen on hard times at the end of their lives.
The BEN, as it is known affectionately, runs a number of cottages in the beautiful village of Pitlochrie for the use of the pensioners it helps.
Every year over 1000 diners from the scotch whisky and associated trades attend the Annual Dinner which is held at the Thistle hotel in Cambridge Street Glasgow
A car donated by a leading car manufacturer and othe rvaluable prizes are ruffled at the end of the Dinner. all receipts from the Annual Dinner go to funding the charifty activities of the Ben.
